 Coding is not as easy as I thought. I now understand basics like inputs, outputs and conditions.  Elpidio Quirino was born on November 16, 1890, in Vintar, Ilocos Norte. His father, Mariano Quirino, was a lawyer and judge. Quirino attended Vintar Elementary School, Ilocos Norte High School and graduated with a law degree from the University of the Philippines in 1915. Quirino's political career spanned over three decades. Elected to the Philippine House of Representatives in 1917, he represented Ilocos Sur's first district. He served as senator (1925-1931), Secretary of Finance and Secretary of the Interior under President Manuel Quezon and Vice President under Sergio Osmeña. Quirino succeeded Osmeña as President on April 17, 1948. Quirino's presidency (1948-1953) focused on post-war reconstruction and economic growth. Key accomplishments include: 1. Establishing the Central Bank and National Power Corporation. 2. Negotiating the US-Philippines Trade Act. 3.
