Our Journey During CBR

Image
Through surveys, interviews, and field observations, we gathered valuable information that shaped our findings. Analyzing the data allowed us to identify key patterns and propose meaningful solutions to the issue at hand. Despite facing challenges along the way, such as time constraints and data collection hurdles, our teamwork and perseverance helped us overcome them. We undertook a really hands-on data collection process within the community through surveys, interviews, and observations from the actual individuals. The very first experience of this method gave us real insight into their problems or their everyday life experiences. Though sometimes there were interpersonal challenges, team analysis of the data required critical thinking and patience as we attempted to find patterns and reach conclusions. This was, however, surmountable due to the sacrifices made with our teamwork as we have experienced hurdles along the way but still managed to complete this process. As we finis...

Facing my Errors

Image
I learned a lot   in the third quarter ,  specifically  on  how to use  HTML and CSS. I  learned  how to  make   a  basic proper  web  page   structure   on  HTML and style  it  with  the help of  CSS .  We  made   the   webpage   look   great .  For   this,   it   was   very   important   that   I   should   be   able   to   make a simple   layouts   and   decide   colors   and   other  design  elements .  I was able to apply all of this in the future. However, I faced several challenges, such as aligning elements properly, making my design responsive, and troubleshooting errors in my code. At times, it was frustrating when the layout didn’t appear as expected. To overcome these difficulties, I practiced regularly, watched tutorials, and sought hel...

Vigan: From Municipality to City

Image
From   a  small  municipality,  Vigan   became   one of the most  important  and culturally  rich  cities in the Philippines.  The   period of  the Spanish  colonization   marked   an important trading  port ,  and   people  from China, Spain, and other countries  visited   and made a significant contribution  to its  economy . As a municipality, Vigan was  already   notable  for its  intact  ancestral houses, cobblestone streets, and rich Ilocano heritage. Its historical importance and unique architecture set the foundation for its eventual recognition as a city. The Celebration of Chinese New Year in the Philippines

Image
The  celebration of Chinese New Year in the Philippines reflects the deep cultural ties between Filipinos and the Chinese-Filipino community. For centuries, Chinese immigrants have settled in the country, contributing to its economy, traditions, and customs. Over time, their practices, including the observance of Chinese New Year, became widely embraced by Filipinos, even those without Chinese ancestry. The holiday  has   become  a nationwide event,  and  festivities  are now  held in cities like Manila ' s Chinatown, where dragon dances, fireworks, an d food feasts take center stage. Filipinos also  celebrate  Chinese New Year because of its strong association with luck, prosperity, and family unity. Many Filipinos follow traditions such as wearing red, displaying round fruits, and giving "ang pao" (red envelopes with money) to attract good fortune. Businesses  participate   in the celebration by offering special promot...

New Year, New Me

This year symbolizes a good year, it is time to leave behind old habits and focus on becoming a better version of ourselves. However, true transformation requires more than just a resolution; it demands reflection, realistic goals, and commitment. While many set ambitious resolutions, success often comes from making small, manageable changes. Instead of vague goals like "be healthier," it’s more effective to set specific targets. This will makes progress measurable and sustainable. Ultimately, new year is an opportunity to reflect and reset, but meaningful change happens over time. With patience and a commitment to growth, "New Year, New Me" can become more than a slogan—it can lead to lasting transformation.

Enjoying my Christmas Vacation

Image
This year's Christmas vacation was very special to me. I had a lot of fun spending time with my family and enjoying the holiday spirit. The weather was cold, and everything looked beautiful with Christmas decorations everywhere.                  On Christmas Eve, we had a  dinner. We ate delicious food. After dinner, we sat together, played some games, and watched a Christmas movie. The best part was when we sang Christmas carols. It felt really nice to be together, laughing and enjoying the evening.                   Overall, my Christmas vacation was wonderful. I spent time with the people I love.
